What's the difference between office hours and gate hours?
The office hours are the hours of operation for the property when the facility manager will be available to assist you with your storage needs or moving and packing supplies.
The gate hours are the hours your rental unit can be accessed using your assigned electronic gate security code

Office Hours are 9:00am - 5:00pm. Monday through Friday & 9:00am - 1:00pm on Saturdays. 
Gate Hours are 6:00am - 10:00pm 7 days a week.

What is the difference between indoor and outdoor storage?
Outdoor storage is an outside parking stall.  An indoor unit is covered storage with individual doors.  Our facility  all indoor storage.

What is a roll-up door?
Roll-up doors are very similar to garage doors and are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward. Roll-up doors are the most common door in self-storage and are bigger than most doors allowing tenants to maximize the space of their unit.

What is climate control?
Climate control is a feature that we do not offer.  Climate controlled units are cooled or heated to protect your stored belongings from the extreme temperatures.

Do you offer RV/boat/car/motorcycle parking?
A 10x20 storage unit is the size of a single car garage.  Our largest size is a 10x30 with the door size of 9 feet wide x 11 feet tall..  If an RV or boat trailer is less than 30 feet, taller than 11 feet, or wider than 9 feet,  you should be able to store it without problems.

Can I buy packing products from Crown Point Storage?
We carry mattress bag covers, sofa and chair covers, dust covers, utility bags, rope, tape & tape guns, box knives, and 3 different kind of padlocks.

What does "on-site" manager mean?

"On-site" manager means there is a house on the property which the manager resides. Living on the premises is an extra security feature that deters potentially unwanted guests.

Do I get a lock when I rent a unit?
You can purchase a new lock at Crown Point Storage anytime during business hours.  No one else will have a key to your lock. We offer 3 different types of locks, and to ensure the highest level of security, we highly recommend the purchase of a disc lock, also known as a cylinder lock.

Can anybody drive onto this property or do you need a PIN number?
Our facility has an electronic gate system which can only be opened by a security code that is assigned to each individual tenant. The code allows us to monitor who is entering and exiting the facility.

Do you have video cameras?

Crown Point Storage uses video cameras as a security measure. Cameras are located in the office, at the point of entry and exit

How far in advance can I book a reservation?
Our policy is on a first come first serve basis.  You may hold a unit for up to 5 days with the $20.00 deposit before the months rent would need to be paid.

What are the payment terms?

All of our leases are month-to-month with a minimum of one months charge.  We accept cash, checks, money orders and credit cards.    Mailing payments, or stopping in the office are always welcomed as well.   We can also automatically charge your  credit card each month

Do you accept credit cards?

We accept several major credit cards, including MasterCard®, Visa®, or  Discover.

Can I pay my bills online?

We are not yet set up for online bill pay, but we will gladly take your credit or debit card over the phone
